Jakarta, Sept. 13 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto called for stronger BRICS cooperation in industrialization and global supply chains to address challenges and promote sustainable economic growth in developing countries.

"Allow me to propose something concrete. Let us jointly pursue industrialization and optimize our resources and capacities," he said during his address at the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, India, on Sunday.

Prabowo noted that global challenges such as climate change and natural disasters must be handled together by BRICS nations and the Global South.
