Jakarta, June 1 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto said on Monday that Pancasila, the country's founding state ideology, should serve as the foundation for all aspects of national life, including the development of Indonesia's national economic system.

Speaking at a ceremony marking Pancasila Day in Jakarta, Prabowo said the relevance of Pancasila in the modern era should be reflected in an honest assessment of Indonesia's economic growth over recent decades, which, he noted, has not been distributed evenly or benefited all citizens equally.
