Jakarta, April 27 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto attended the wedding reception of celebrity couple El Rumi and Syifa Hadju at the Raffles Hotel Jakarta on Sunday night, April 26.

Wearing a navy blue suit, Prabowo drew attention as he entered the venue shortly after stepping out of his official Indonesia-made vehicle.

Rumi and Hadju are both musicians and actors. The groom is the second son of Ahmad Dhani, widely known as the frontman of Dewa 19, and currently a legislator from Prabowo's Gerindra Party.

The president told reporters he attended the event due to his close ties with Ahmad Dhani and his family.
