Jakarta, May 29 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto attended a state dinner hosted by French President Emmanuel Macron at the Salle des Fetes hall of the Elysee Palace in Paris, France, on Thursday (May 28).

According to an official statement from Indonesian Presidential Secretariat cited here on Friday, the state banquet was part of President Prabowo's state visit to France and reflected close friendship and strategic partnership between Indonesia and France.

President Prabowo was welcomed directly by President Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron at the main staircase of the Elysee Palace. A warm atmosphere marked the reception for the Indonesian President before entering the main hall where the banquet was held.
