Jakarta, June 10 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is targeting to build and renovate around 300 to 400 hospitals across districts in Indonesia in the next three years as part of efforts to bolster national health services.

"Over the next three years, we will build and renovate 300 to 400 hospitals across every district in Indonesia," he said during the inauguration of the K.H. Muhammad Thohir Krui Regional General Hospital in West Pesisir District, Lampung Province, as monitored online on Wednesday.

The programme has been planned in collaboration with the Health Ministry and stands one of the government's top priorities to improve public access to high-quality healthcare services.
