Jakarta, Sept. 12 -- President Prabowo Subianto has affirmed Indonesia's active role in promoting multilateral cooperation and building strategic partnerships amid global dynamics through his participation in the 2026 BRICS Summit in New Delhi, India, on Saturday.

According to the Presidential Secretariat statement here on Saturday, the President's participation at the forum provided an opportunity for Indonesia to convey its national position and interests while contributing to discussions on global governance amid ongoing global challenges.

The 18th BRICS Summit held on September 12-13, 2026, carries the theme "Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation, and Sustainability".
