Jakarta, Sept. 1 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is set to hold a bilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the 11th Eastern Economic Forum (EEF) in Vladivostok, Russia, this week.

Russian Ambassador to Indonesia Sergei Tolchenov confirmed that the summit is expected to take place during President Prabowo's official visit to Russia from September 1 to 4, 2026.

"A bilateral meeting is expected to take place, with the exact timing to be confirmed by the Russian Presidential Office," Ambassador Tolchenov told reporters following a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday.
