Kuala Lumpur, March 26 -- Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim are scheduled to meet in Jakarta on Friday (March 27) to discuss recent geopolitical developments, Malaysia's Foreign Affairs Ministry announced.

In a statement received here on Thursday, the ministry said Anwar would travel to the Indonesian capital at Prabowo's invitation.

The two leaders plan to use the bilateral forum to exchange views on the ongoing war in the Middle East and its implications for Malaysia, Indonesia, and global and regional stability and economic conditions.
