Jakarta, April 20 -- Agriculture Minister Andi Amran Sulaiman said poultry exports reached Rp18.2 billion (around US$1 million) as of March 2026, reflecting a production surplus and strengthening the global competitiveness of Indonesia's livestock commodities.

"As of March 2026, Indonesia has exported 545 tons of poultry products worth Rp18.2 billion to destination countries such as Singapore, Japan, and Timor-Leste," he said in a statement issued in Jakarta on Sunday.

The exports were dominated by eggs, totaling 517 tons or around 8.13 million eggs, while the remainder consisted of chicken meat and value-added processed products.
