Jakarta, May 9 -- The National Police's Criminal Investigation Agency seized Rp1.9 billion (US$106 thousand) in cash during a crackdown on an international online gambling network in the Hayam Wuruk office complex in Jakarta.

The Director of General Crimes, Brigadier General Wira Satya Triputra, said the police also seized foreign currency worth 53.82 million Vietnamese dong and US$10,210 during the crackdown.

"These are various currencies. We will provide further details later, but that is what's certain," he remarked in a press conference on Saturday.
