Jakarta, March 20 -- The Police Traffic Corps has officially ended the national one-way traffic system, which began at kilometer 70 of the Cikampek Utama Toll Gate in West Java and continued through kilometer 414 at the Kalikangkung Toll Gate in Semarang, Central Java.

"With the permission of National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, we have temporarily ended the national one-way traffic system for the homecoming period at 1:22 p.m.," the Police Traffic Corps Chief, Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho, said on Friday.

He explained that the decision was based on evaluation results, which showed that traffic flow was relatively smooth and under control.
