Pertamina Trans Kontinental plants 512 coral fragments
Jakarta, Aug. 20 -- PT Pertamina Trans Kontinental (PTK) strengthened its marine conservation efforts in North Sulawesi waters by planting 512 coral fragments as part of its environmental program.
The program involved 26 Pertamina divers and 10 local divers, while environmental NGO SeaSoldier, local communities, environmental groups, and regional authorities also participated, PTK Acting President Director Eko Cahyadi said.
The company's maritime operations are closely tied to the sea, making marine ecosystem conservation integral to its long-term sustainability, he said in a statement issued on Thursday.
