Jakarta, April 14 -- Vice President of Corporate Communication at state oil and gas company Pertamina Muhammad Baron said his side will follow government directives regarding plans to purchase oil from Russia.

"At present, the plan is still at the government level," Baron told ANTARA on Tuesday.

He explained that as a state owned enterprise managing national energy, Pertamina will follow up in accordance with the regulations set by the government.

Furthermore, Baron stated that Pertamina is open to various cooperation opportunities to ensure the resilience and sustainability of the national energy supply.
