Jakarta, May 24 -- Indonesia's state energy company Pertamina has partnered with Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia to support the country's energy transition and energy self-sufficiency goals.

"Energy independence and transition are being pursued simultaneously by Pertamina under our Dual Growth Strategy," Pertamina's Director of Strategy, Portfolio and Business Development Emma Sri Martini said in a statement on Sunday.

Martini said Pertamina remains committed to supporting government efforts to strengthen national energy security while accelerating the transition toward cleaner energy.
