Over 8.8 million students join free health check program
Jakarta, July 22 -- At least 8,824,185 students participated in the Free Health Check-up (CKG) program in schools between January 1 and July 14, 2026, according to the report of the Indonesian Government Communications Agency (Bakom).
The nationwide school-based CKG program was launched on August 4, 2025, targeting children aged 7 to 17.
Bakom's Deputy III for Partnerships and Media Relations Kurnia Ramadhana stated during a press conference here on Wednesday that conditions ranging from dental cavities to obesity were the most common issues affecting some students.
