Nusantara, March 31 -- Indonesia's future capital city, Nusantara, welcomed a total of 352,102 visitors during the 2026 Eid al-Fitr holiday season from March 18 to 29.

The holiday surge drew 805,105 vehicles, including motorbikes, cars, and buses, to the new capital site.

The Nusantara Capital City (IKN) Authority ensured that it provided optimal services to visitors seeking to explore the Government Core Area (KIPP) in East Kalimantan Province.

"During the visit period, the State Palace and the IKN State Mosque stood out with the highest count of visitors in the Nusantara KIPP," said Troy Pantouw, spokesperson for the IKN Authority, on Tuesday.
