Indonesia, Aug. 19 -- East Nusa Tenggara's (NTT's) disaster-relief fund reached Rp4.36 billion (US$244,000) as of Aug. 18, as the province continued distributing medical and logistical supplies to earthquake-hit communities.

Yohanes Abrianto Kore, acting head of the provincial administration bureau, said Wednesday the funds were held in the province's disaster-relief account.

"The balance of the East Nusa Tenggara disaster-relief account stood at Rp4.3592 billion (US$244,000) as of Aug. 18," he said.

The funds came from regional governments and public donations supporting earthquake relief efforts across East Nusa Tenggara, he said.
