Central Lombok, NTB, Aug. 23 -- The Culture Office of the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Provincial Government has begun inventorying artifacts and cultural elements damaged by the fire as an initial step toward preserving cultural heritage in Sade Traditional Village, Central Lombok District.

The Head of the NTB Culture Office, Muhamad Ihwan, said his office is identifying and saving the remaining cultural artifacts, including documenting the knowledge, stories, and traditions that live on among the Sade indigenous people.

"The most important part is saving cultural artifacts, including the stories of local residents," he conveyed after inspecting the post-fire conditions at the Sade Traditional Village in Central Lombok on Sunday.
