Jakarta, Aug. 27 -- No Indonesians were among the foreign nationals reported dead or missing after a flash flood swept through the China-Nepal border area on Wednesday, Indonesia's Foreign Ministry confirmed.

Director for the protection of Indonesians at the ministry, Heni Hamidah, said that Indonesian embassies in Beijing and Dhaka continue their intensive monitoring of the conditions of Indonesians in Nepal after the tragedy.

"Based on the observation and communication with related parties, we received no reports about any Indonesians affected by the disaster so far," Hamidah stated in response to ANTARA's query on Thursday.
