Multinational troops hone patrol skills at 2026 Super Garuda Shield
Jakarta, Sept. 4 -- Personnel from the Indonesian Military (TNI), alongside soldiers from the U.S. Army and the Australian Defence Force, bolstered their patrol capabilities during the 2026 Super Garuda Shield (SGS) exercise.
In a press release issued here on Thursday (September 3), the TNI stated that the drill was designed to enhance soldiers' proficiency in territorial surveillance and battlefield survival tactics.
Held at the Army Combat Training Center in Martapura, South Sumatra, Indonesia, the training began with comprehensive theoretical briefings before troops executed practical field exercises.
