Jakarta, Sept. 11 -- People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) Deputy Speaker Lestari Moerdijat pushed for concrete implementation of the concession or discount policy for people with disabilities, moving beyond a mere regulatory formality.

In a statement in Jakarta on Friday, Moerdijat highlighted the need for concrete and collaborative measures to address the ongoing barriers people with disabilities face when accessing public services.

"Efforts to boost participation among people with disabilities cannot be achieved through regulations alone. Concrete and collaborative action is needed to overcome these existing hurdles," she said.
