Jakarta, Oct. 8 -- Head of the Indonesia's State-Owned Enterprises Management Agency (BP BUMN) Dony Oskaria expects the MotoGP event to strengthen Mandalika's position as a leading sport tourism destination.

"Over the past five years, MotoGP has significantly impacted our tourism and industry in Mandalika. It has drawn large numbers of visitors," Oskaria said in an official release here on Thursday.

Oskaria also serves as Chief Operating Officer of sovereign wealth fund Danantara Indonesia.
