Jakarta, Oct. 8 -- The Indonesian Ministry of Tourism is promoting six tourism villages as prime destinations for educational trips (edutrips) for schools, bridging classroom curricula with educational tourism.

"By marketing directly to school decision-makers, we hope to connect curriculum requirements with the educational experiences offered by these tourism villages," the ministry's Deputy for Marketing, Ni Made Ayu Marthini, said in an official statement confirmed on Thursday.
