Jakarta, April 29 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Digital (Kemkomdigi) has identified artificial intelligence (AI) and 5G connectivity as key accelerators of digital transformation, stressing that their growth must be sustained to help realize the country's Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.

Wayan Toni Supriyanto, director general of Digital Infrastructure at Kemkomdigi, said that to function effectively as accelerators, AI and 5G must be integrated. Such integration would broaden access to advanced technologies and facilitate the creation of innovative solutions to national challenges.

"The integration of 5G and AI will generate new business models and accelerate digital transformation across both the public sector and industry...
