Jakarta, June 7 -- Indonesia's Ministry of Public Works (PU) continues to oversee the accelerated construction of Phase II People's Schools (Sekolah Rakyat) to ensure the educational facilities are ready for use in the 2026/2027 academic year.

Public Works Minister Dody Hanggodo said the government has been closely monitoring the implementation of the project, including ensuring that any challenges faced by contractors are addressed promptly.
