Jakarta, Aug. 10 -- The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education reported that 1,360 students in the first cohort of the National Integrated School (SNT) program, spread across 17 locations, are ready to begin the Friendly School Orientation Period (MPLS) on Monday.

Director General of Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Non-Formal and Informal Education Gogot Suharwoto said the 1,360 students consist of 680 junior high school students and 680 senior high school students.

"We have gone through the selection process, or new student admission system (SPMB). From 2,068 applicants, 1,360 students passed selection, comprising 680 junior high school students and 680 senior high school students," Suharwoto said on Monday.
