Surabaya, E Java, Aug. 30 -- Foreign Policy Strategy Agency at the Indonesia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (BSKLN) has urged local businesses to leverage Indonesia's participation in BRICS and OECD accession process to boost competitiveness.

In a statement received here on Saturday (August 29), Head of the Multilateral Policy Strategy Center at BSKLN, Masni Eriza, emphasised that alignment efforts must strengthen rather than weaken domestic industries.

Masni said the complexity of global economy requires Indonesia to bolster its resilience through broad and adaptive cooperation. He added Indonesia has consistently positioned itself as a bridge builder capable of bringing together the world's major economic powers.
