Jakarta, Sept. 24 -- The Ministry of Industry is bolstering Indonesia's readiness to become a global halal industry hub by strengthening the entire ecosystem, boosting competitiveness, and expanding global market access.

"The global halal market continues to show strong growth. In 2024, Muslim consumer spending across six Islamic economic sectors reached US$2.6 trillion. This figure is projected to rise to US$3.56 trillion by 2029," Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita said.
