Jakarta, April 17 -- The Ministry of Transportation announced that a pilot, an engineer, and six passengers aboard an Airbus H130 helicopter, registered PK-CFX, were killed after the aircraft crashed in a forest in Sekadau District, West Kalimantan.
The ministry's Director General of Civil Aviation, Lukman F. Laisa, said on Friday that the helicopter was operated by one pilot, Capt. Marindra Wibowo, one engineer, Harun Arasyid, and six passengers.
The passengers were identified as Mr. Patrick K., a Malaysian citizen; Mr. Victor T.; Mr. Charles L.; Mr. Joko C.; Mr. Fauzie O.; and Mr. Sugito.
