Bogor, June 10 -- Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Pratikno inspected revitalization works at a public Islamic junior high school in Bogor City, West Java, on Wednesday to ensure the effective implementation of the national school upgrading program.

Speaking alongside Religious Affairs Minister Nasaruddin Umar, Pratikno said the school revitalization program is one of President Prabowo Subianto's key initiatives to improve the quality of human resources through education.

He noted that the government has allocated Rp13.28 trillion (more than US$723 million) for the physical rehabilitation and upgrading of public and religious schools nationwide, beginning in 2025.
