Jakarta, Feb. 21 -- Manpower Minister Yassierli has urged companies and government institutions participating in the National Internship Program to facilitate competency tests for interns.

In a statement issued here on Saturday, he said the measure is intended to ensure that participants complete the program not only with an internship certificate, but also with a competency or skills certificate that can strengthen their job applications.

"National Internship participants should gain not only experience, but also proof of competence. There should be at least two certificates as evidence, an internship certificate from the partner institution and a competency certificate issued by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP)," ...
