Jakarta, April 18 -- Minister of Hajj and Umrah Mochamad Irfan Yusuf has emphasized that services provided by officers to Hajj pilgrims must prioritize protection and inclusivity, particularly for vulnerable groups.

He made the statement while inaugurating the Hajj Pilgrimage Organizing Committee (PPIH) for the 1447 H/2026 embarkation points across Indonesia.

Yusuf said embarkation points are the first places where the presence of the state is felt by pilgrims, underscoring the need for optimal services from officers.
