Jakarta, April 28 -- Indonesian Ministry of Transportation revealed the chronology of train accident at East Bekasi Station, West Java, which was begun when an electric-powered commuter train (KRL) hit an electric car taxi at a level crossing near the train station.

"Based on the preliminary chronology, the accident started when a Bekasi-Cikarang KRL hit a car at level crossing JPL 85," Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi said in a statement here on Tuesday.

The affected train set, he added, had to be evacuated and was designated as an extraordinary service (PLB) with code 5181 after ceasing regular operations.
