Jakarta, Sept. 18 -- Indonesia's Finance Minister Suahasil Nazara assured business owners who meet the requirements will receive refunds for overpaid taxes.

"If it is a right if the business players, it will certainly be granted," Nazara said during a press conference on "APBN KiTa on September 2026 edition" at the Ministry of Finance Office in Jakarta on Friday.

The Directorate General of Taxes at the ministry, he added, has been processing the refund payments in accordance with applicable tax mechanisms and regulations.

At the same time, the Finance Ministry encourages tax compliance among all business players, including the proper handling of refunds in line with existing rules.
