Jakarta, Oct. 30 -- Indonesia's Minister of Transportation Dudy Purwagandhi invited the US-ASEAN Business Council (USABC) to strengthen investment in transport sector to support infrastructure modernization, better safety, logistics efficiency, and national economic growth.

"The United States companies could be investors and partners in achieving those goals," Purwagandhi said in a meeting with the council at the Transportation Ministry Office here in Jakarta on Thursday (Oct 29).

USABC is an organization that bridges companies from the United States with governments in Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries to boost trade and investment ties.
