Jakarta, April 18 -- Creative Economy Minister Teuku Riefky Harsya emphasized that architecture is not limited to aesthetics, but also serves as a vital component of disaster mitigation and national resilience.
"Architecture is evolving from the art of design into the science of survival. Through design innovation, architects can transform hazards into manageable risks," he said in a statement received on Saturday.
The Ministry of Creative Economy reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the role of architecture as a strategic subsector of the creative economy, contributing to economic resilience and disaster mitigation.
