Jakarta, June 25 -- Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Minister Bahlil Lahadalia has confirmed that the contract for importing crude oil from Russia has been prepared and is ready for further development.

"I will try to check it technically, but what I know is that the contract has already been carried out by Lemigas (Research and Development Center for Oil and Gas Technology) and the BLU (Public Service Agency) under the ESDM Ministry," Lahadalia said when met here on Thursday.

Regarding the volume of crude oil to be imported from Russia, he said there is potential for further development.
