Jakarta, May 11 -- Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Minister Arifah Fauzi has called for improved digital literacy among women, describing it as a vital component in building family digital resilience.

"Women need to enhance their capacity to adapt to rapid changes. Their role is crucial as the primary educators of children-the nation's future generation," she said in Jakarta on Monday.

The minister made these remarks during the opening of the National Working Meeting of the Indonesian Women Care Alliance (Alppind).

Fauzi stressed that women play a strategic role as the main pillars of families and community development, as well as serving as agents of social change.
