Jakarta, Sept. 30 -- Communication and Digital Affairs Minister Meutya Hafid called on Indonesian citizens who are graduates of overseas universities to strengthen their contribution to national development by creating technological innovations, including artificial intelligence (AI), that are human-centered.

"In my view, the key word is responsibility. It is not just about pushing innovation, as we believe every innovation must be developed responsibly," Hafid said in a statement received and confirmed here on Wednesday.

Hafid conveyed this message as a keynote speaker at a forum titled "Human Connection in a Digital World" on Tuesday.
