Jakarta, Sept. 25 -- Indonesia's Environment Minister Jumhur Hidayat has outlined Indonesia's commitment to just climate action before representatives of the UN member states, in line with President Prabowo Subianto's directives.

Hidayat made the remarks at the Interactive Leaders Dialogue on Climate Action and the Just Transition at the 81st UN General Assembly in New York on Wednesday (Sept 23), according to a statement received here on Friday.

He said Indonesia's climate agenda is not merely aimed at meeting global targets, but is also directly designed to boost economic resilience, create green jobs, and protect vulnerable communities.
