Medan, N Sumatra, Aug. 21 -- Medan City Police seized 93 kilograms of cannabis after a car chase on AH Nasution Road in Medan, North Sumatra, arresting two men from Aceh, authorities said here Friday.

"The operation resulted in the arrest of two men, identified by their initials K, 30, and AR, 19, both from Aceh Province," Medan City Police Narcotics Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Rafli Yusuf Nugraha said.

He said the seizure followed an early-August raid on a suspected drug den in the Tembung railway corridor.

"From that operation, we received information about a planned shipment of a large quantity of cannabis to Tembung," Rafli said.
