Jakarta, Sept. 24 -- The Housing and Settlement Areas Ministry (PKP) has said that the construction progress on low-income housing (MBR) apartment blocks in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) has reached 88.22 percent.

Director General of Urban Housing at the ministry Sri Haryati said construction is continuing and is targeted for completion on schedule by the end of 2026.

"In IKN, we also have construction for MBR, low-income communities. The physical progress is currently at 88.22 percent," Haryati said after a working meeting with House of Representatives (DPR) Commission V here on Thursday.
