Jakarta, Sept. 16 -- President Prabowo Subianto said Indonesia expects a wave of large-scale investment in coming weeks, citing strong economic indicators and investment realization despite global economic uncertainty.

Prabowo made the remarks in the "President Prabowo Answers" program, released by the Government Communications Agency on Wednesday.

He said first-half investment realization reached Rp1,010.6 trillion, or about US$57.2 billion, meeting nearly half of the 2026 investment target.

Investment realization reached Rp1,931.2 trillion, or about US$109.2 billion, in 2025, generating more than 2.7 million jobs.
