Lampung Police urge parents to monitor children's social circle, media
Indonesia, Aug. 29 -- The Lampung Regional Police have urged parents to step up supervision of their children's daily activities, social circles, and social media usage to protect them from negative influences and potential legal troubles.
"Such supervision is crucial to prevent children from becoming involved in various issues, ranging from drug abuse, promiscuity, and illegal online loans, to activities that could turn violent," Lampung Regional Police spokeswoman Senior Commissioner Yuni Iswandari said on Saturday.
