Denpasar, Bali, Sept. 3 -- The Kura Kura Bali Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is developing an organic waste processing facility with a capacity of up to one ton per day to support the region's circular economy.

"Most importantly, we must develop habits, infrastructure, and a waste management system with a positive impact on the environment," the Head of the Communication Department of the Kura Kura Bali SEZ, Zefri Alfaruqy, noted in Bali on Thursday.

He explained that the organic waste processing facility development has been on trial since September 2025 and is now being implemented through the operation of the Organic Waste Composting Center (ICC).
