Kupang, Aug. 15 -- Several flights in East Nusa Tenggara Province, especially from El Tari International Airport in Kupang to various airports in Flores, have been cancelled, while others are awaiting confirmation of operational status following an earthquake on Saturday morning.

Teguh Darmawan Saiman, general manager of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia at El Tari International Airport, confirmed on Saturday the airport's facilities and key operational equipment remain in good condition and were unaffected by the earthquake.
