Jakarta, Sept. 26 -- The National Crafts Council (Dekranas) is holding the Kriyanusa 2026 craft exhibition under the theme "Create Sustainable Craft, Artisans Go Global," promoting handicrafts as part of Indonesia's cultural wealth and creative economy.

"This theme represents our shared spirit to view handicrafts not only as works of aesthetic value, but also as part of our cultural wealth, regional identity, and the strength of Indonesia's creative economy," Kriyanusa 2026 Exhibition Committee Chair Ayu Heni Rosan said at the exhibition's opening here on Saturday.
