Jakarta, July 22 -- State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi said the government is moving forward with plans to develop Kertajati International Airport in Majalengka, West Java, into a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) hub, with operations targeted to begin this year.

Prasetyo said the government is completing several preparatory steps, including the transfer of Kertajati Airport's assets and management from the West Java provincial government to the central government.
