Karo, Aug. 2 -- Karo Regent Antonius Ginting said the 2026 Karo Flower and Fruit Festival (FBB), held from July 30 to August 1, successfully boosted the local economy while strengthening the district's tourism sector.

"The three-day festival successfully promoted tourism while stimulating the local economy through increased tourist arrivals, higher MSME transactions, and wider promotion of Karo's leading horticultural commodities," Ginting said in Kabanjahe, North Sumatra, on Sunday.
