Amman, Feb. 26 -- Jordan's King Abdullah II on Wednesday wished Indonesia's President Prabowo Subianto a blessed Ramadan during a bilateral meeting at Basman Palace in Amman, underscoring their close personal ties.
"Ramadan Mubarak, my dear brother," Abdullah told Prabowo as they met during the Muslim holy month, offering a traditional greeting that conveys hopes for a blessed and prosperous Ramadan.
The king said he looked forward to reciprocating Prabowo's visit with a return trip to Jakarta, reaffirming the warm relations between the two leaders and their countries.
Prabowo returned the greeting, extending Ramadan wishes to the Jordanian people and thanking Abdullah for the warm welcome and state honors accorded to him in Amman.
